WWI Memorial Concert Toronto

June 30th, 2026

There will be a WWI Memorial Concert held in Toronto on June 30th. Downtown Toronto, Ohio, is home to one of the nation’s very first World War I monuments. Dedicated on November 11, 1919—the first anniversary of Armistice Day—the monument honors the hundreds of local citizens who served in the Great War. Designed by renowned sculptor Giuseppe Moretti, the historic bronze sculpture features a central figure of Liberty flanked by a soldier and a sailor. Today, the beautifully restored landmark stands proudly downtown at the corner of Third and Market Streets, serving as a lasting testament to the community’s deep patriotism. More information about the concert will come at a later date.
